Rearview Mirror: Downloading Waste

Supply and demand. Money is made by filling demand. The RIAA seems to want to kill demand instead of making money. It is a shame. Musicians could use wider distribution than the mega-record companies can provide. Some artists take a stand that record companies don't have the artists' best interests at heart (or in the pocketbook).

This is a perfect example of living in the rear view mirror as McLuhan would say.
